This morning, Sam and I headed to Grapevine for A Day Out With Thomas. I didn’t really know what to expect. Aside from being predictably over-priced, it was awesome. Sam was out of his mind happy and kept saying, “Momma, I so happy!” Train tables, a big model train, Thomas legos, a sandbox, tattoos, animal balloons made by a crazy clown, Sir Top’em Hatt, a bounce house, and of course, the actual train ride. Four hours later, I would say it was worth the money and Sam is demanding we go back with Francis and George. 🙂 What a fun, fun morning. I mostly just enjoyed focusing in on my little man. In just a few days he’ll be three. I can hardly believe how fast time flies.
As we drove up, he asked, “Momma, we see Thomas?” and just then, we spotted him outside the trolley… He was so adorable.
Having the time of his life on the Thomas bounce house. He kept looking around at the other kids with Thomas shirts and hats and saying, “Momma, these are my friends!”
All smiles.
We spent a solid 30 minutes at the train tables. Getting there early was great. We basically had the place to ourselves. When we left you could barely enter the tent…yuck.

He insisted on FOUR tattoos. One on each cheek and one on each hand. 😉
