What a good lookin’ dog…

AFTER :)!

Here’s the “After” shot of our favorite dog. Click through to see “Before” and “During” shots. 😉 Currently he’s sacked out on the downstairs couch. I think getting a haircut wears him out. Note however, that he’s never too tired to sport an Irish bandana around his neck.

Fulmer Fam - Full body Doggyscaping that is a new one on me. So is that what they call a metrosexual doggy salon?

Dog Shaving in Progress

Our dog sheds a prodigious amount of hair all over our house, ourselves, and our child. To battle the hair, we shave him.

Sally took Scout to the dog groomer today and just emailed me this picture. He looks happy.

Justin - Or like he could easily and happily rip your larynx out.

The Best 5 bucks I think I’ve ever spent.

Open Gym
Originally uploaded by The Gulde Family.

Yesterday I discovered a treasure just around the corner from our house. It’s the Wednesday morning “Open Gym” at the Oak Park gymnastics center. For five dollars you and your toddler can play in a padded room of goodies for an hour and a half. Not just any hour and half either. It’s from 10:00 – 11:30am during the morning “hump time” as I like to lovingly refer to it. It’s that time after breakfast and before lunch/naptime when Francis and I stare at each other and wonder what we’re going to do. This proved to be worth every penny spent. Francis flat wore herself out. Afterwards, we out did ourselves and went to McDonalds playland for lunch with Brian, Noah and Anna Breit. It was awesome and no kidding… Francis was asleep before we left the McDonalds parking lot. Can’t beat that.

She did it!

Anna Getting Shaved

Anna successfully shaved her head this afternoon and thanks to many of our generous friends and family, Anna raised more than $1500 for pediatric cancer research. I can’t articulate the pride that I feel for Anna. She is certainly a special girl. I also couldn’t be more proud of our dear friends and family who gave so generously to this project.
Thank you guys so much.

REMINDER – St. Baldrick’s Day

Remember that St. Baldrick’s day is only two days away. If you meant to throw some money at our niece Anna’s bald head, go do it. Anna’s goal is $1000, and she stands at $800 right now – largely due to friends of mattandsally.com. Here’s a huge thanks to all of those who donated.
