Matt and I had such a fun weekend! We went to the Cubs game on Saturday, had dinner with the Odoms (Berrys)-friends from Lawton, ate dessert and talked till midnight with the Browns (good friends who watched Francis while we were at the Cubs game) and then on Sunday I took a bookbinding class downtown while Matt watched Francis. Then Matt and Francis came to pick me up and we ended up eating dinner downtown and hanging out at Borders until 9pm! We have such a good baby. She was such a champ staying up so late. Now it’s time for bed and time to get ready for our FRIDAY CLOSING OF OUR NEW HOUSE!!!

What a good looking crew. My dad visited this week and we had a good time catching up. We went to the Zoo and had a few good meals together. Francis wore her hair in pigtails for the first time. I think they look pretty good. 😉 They definitely reflect her spunky personality. She is such a little sparkle. Man, I love that girl.

Our little Legal Eagle


I like "torts" the best.

I caught Francis reading legal books this morning. She’s such a little bookworm already. When I approached her about it she said, “Mommy, I like Torts the best.” Ah, what can I say…she’s a little smarty pants. Maybe someday she’ll grow up and be like her smarty pants Aunt Susan! (By the way, if you are reading this in class Susan… you need to stop surfing the web and checking your email and get to work! ;))
